Andie Xie

For me, designing textiles is far more than just creating a beautiful pattern. It is an important way to express myself and connect with the world. Mostly, my designs are inspired by things I love: fine arts, a play I’m deeply moved by or a special place that appears in my daydreams. It is always very personal. As a shy introvert, I create a small quiet corner surrounded by this noisy modern world which contains my wildest fantasies. It is beautiful.
