Kirsten Williamson

As an artist and aspiring fashion designer, my illustrations and designs are often a reflection of my personal fascination for all things exotic, natural, cultural and historical; with topics of flora and fauna in particular, often forming the subjects of my work.

At the centre of my illustrative style is a penchant for artistic-realism and minute detail, as well as my life-long fondness for scientific and botanical style prints.

My textile designs, like my art, aim to maintain a similar illustrative approach, using sketches arranged in kaleidoscopic patterns, whilst also exploring a range of creative themes.
